Facet Legal LLC is the law practice of business and intellectual property attorney Tricia Juettemeyer. Tricia’s approach to advising is to empower her clients to understand the law and the ways it can help grow a business, rather than be intimidated by it. She uses her depth and breadth of experience to offer practical legal advice at her client’s level of risk tolerance.

Tricia started her career in television post-production, transitioned to a career in academic librarianship, then attended law school and began her legal career. Tricia joined a Portland firm and advised businesses and entrepreneurs on intellectual property, entity formation, contracts, corporate growth and governance and mergers and acquisitions. She moved in-house to a software as a service company and after a short period in a Senior Corporate Counsel role, joined the executive team, leading the legal team as Assistant General Counsel and then adding information security leadership in her role as General Counsel. In 2021 she made the decision to return to private practice and opened Facet Legal LLC.

Tricia is a board member for Oregon Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, has presented on business and intellectual property law topics, taught Business Associations as an Instructor Pro Tem at the University of Oregon School of Law and was named a Rising Star in Intellectual Property Law in 2018 by Oregon Super Lawyers.

Tricia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Juris Doctorate with Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Lewis and Clark Law School. Tricia is licensed to practice law in Oregon.
