Facet Legal LLC is the law practice of business, intellectual property, and technology attorney Tricia Juettemeyer. Tricia uses her depth and breadth of experience to offer practical legal advice at her client’s level of risk tolerance.

Tricia started her career in television post-production, transitioned to a career in academic librarianship, then attended law school and began her legal career. Tricia joined a Portland firm and advised businesses and entrepreneurs on intellectual property, entity formation, contracts, corporate growth and governance and mergers and acquisitions (October 2014 – March 2018). She moved in-house to a software as a service company and after a short period in a Senior Corporate Counsel role (April – September 2018), joined the executive team and led the legal team as Assistant General Counsel from September 2018-2019 then added information security leadership in her role as General Counsel (October 2019 – May 2021). She returned to private practice and founded Facet Legal LLC in 2021.

Tricia is a board member and volunteer for Oregon Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, volunteers as a pro bono attorney and guest speaker for the Small Business Legal Clinic, has presented to the Portland community on business and intellectual property law topics, taught Business Associations as an Instructor Pro Tem at the University of Oregon School of Law (Fall 2017), and was named a Rising Star in Intellectual Property Law in 2018 by Oregon Super Lawyers.

Tricia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Juris Doctorate with Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Lewis and Clark Law School. Tricia is licensed to practice law in Oregon.
